Canteen

The Parents & Friends Association, VCAL and other student groups run canteens, particularly at Sporting Events (College Swimming Sports, Athletics Day & Kowree Sports Day) as well as at other occasions during the school year. Order forms are generally sent out before the event and orders prior to the event are appreciated to assist with planning and budgeting.

The Canteen is also used by staff and students for Breakfast Club and for the Student Representative Council’s (SRC) Reheating Station service which runs every lunch time.

Breakfast Club runs every morning between 8:30-8:50 and offers students with fruit, cereal and a choice of milo or milk to kickstart their morning before school.

The Reheating station service is run and supervised by the SRC, allowing students to have their food reheated using a microwave or sandwich press. This service runs most lunch times and operates out of the Canteen’s big barn window.
